In response to messages being received on reciting Darood 1 crore times for Peshawar victims (and forwarding these messages):
Salam.
With due respect, Darood is seeking blessings for the Prophet (saw) from Allah. Qu'ran in Sura Al-Ahzaab asks the companions to seek blessings for the prophet (saw) against the slanderous propaganda of the hypocrites (munafiqeen) against the prophet (saw) and his Ahl e Bayt (wives). I don't see any relevance of reciting Darood for this cause.
You'll find lots of Hadith on Darood's recitation for various blessings. Most of these hadiths are fabricated. If someone wants to recite something for the innocent victims of the heartrending incident in Peshawar just seek and invoke Allah's blessings for them. The best words may be found in the Prophets (saw) du'a in the 'namaz e janazah'. If you wish, Google 'namaz e janazah' you'll find the words there.
Last but not least, again, with due respect, I may not further forward this Darood message. These types of messages are rampant in our society only because we are away from the Qu'ran.
Regards
