Epigraph
Tony Blair has publicly acknowledged that his decision to invade Iraq in 2003—joining with the U.S. to depose Saddam Hussein—was a grave and agonizing error. While he maintains that the removal of Saddam was morally justified, he has expressed deep regret for the flawed intelligence, poor post-war planning, and catastrophic human cost that followed.
Blair
described the choice to go to war as the “hardest, most momentous and
agonizing decision” of his premiership, a burden he says will remain
with him for life.
Blair
offered profound remorse, saying: “I express more sorrow, regret, and
apology than you may ever know or believe.”
The Iraq Admission: Tony Blair’s
Confession in Queen’s English
The beauty
of the English language! The way Tony Blair expressed himself in Queen's
English, publicly acknowledging that his decision to invade Iraq was a grave and
agonizing error, made him appear noble. I felt like sympathizing with him and
giving him a light pat on his shoulder, telling him, "Hey! It's okay!
Everyone makes mistakes"!
This comes from the former Prime Minister of a self-proclaimed civilized and
developed country on Earth. It is proven without doubt that the world spins on
'Might is Right' and not 'Right is Might'. All races - Black, Yellow, Brown,
White - have applied this principle throughout history.
Today, the so-called "white race," having reached the pinnacles of
technological and educational advancement, often assumes it has the moral
license to impose its will globally, declaring its might as inherently right.
Tony Blair does not have to use the Queen's English now to shed crocodile
tears! It is quite pathetic, to say the least. European leaders and US leaders
of the past shall come up with detailed reports and apologies from time to time
concerning Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and Syria.
It
makes no difference.
