4:1 O People! Be conscious of your Sustainer, who has created you out of one living entity, and out of the two spread abroad a multitude of men and women. And remain conscious of God, in whose name you demand [your rights] from one another, and of these ties of kinship. Verily, God is ever watchful over you!
This takes the 'ponderer' to Adam & Eve. Adam/Eve creation and details are found in all Divine Scriptures - the Torah, Psalms of David, the Bible and the Koran.
Koran being the last Scripture only accentuates the aspects of this creation which relates to us in certain ways for our understanding.
Like God always desires and yearns for us all - to employ our intellect in reading His signs.
The word Verse in Koran in Arabic (the language of its revelation on Arabs then) is called an " AYAT". This word literally means a sign. The universe of God; both external and in our inner side are replete with His signs. The signs abound so much that God does not need to be in the forefront physically for all to see. He expects a soul to 'read His signs' by employing his/her intellect.
Like in any field of education and learning one has to shed prejudice, arrogance, pre conceived ideas to learn and progress on in life.
Reaching God through reading His signs is no different.
